I must admit the great looking trainer/model is what first captured my attention but after reading her blog regarding the proper nutrition and the hard work getting in shape was going to involve, Natalie Jill struck a chord with me. A no excuses, eat clean, work hard and sweat it off process was something I could do. The word diet just sent shivers up my back but Natalie seemed to concentrate more on what a person CAN eat, not what they cant eat.

I decided to give the “7 Day Jump Start Challenge” a try. Tracy S. I cannot tell you how you came into my life when I needed you most! The last 8 years have been the most difficult I could have imagined. I have been GF for just over a year, and for the first time I am in a position where I can begin to get my body to where it once was. However so many people in my life feel it necessary to remind me I am “old”. I turn 40 next year. Most people think I am much younger than I am, and like you, I think its ridiculous how much pressure society puts on women to be “old” at 35. I don’t believe that and your post about being 40 made me cheer! Each time you post something it somehow is exactly what I needed at that time. You are beautiful, fit, a mother, a professional and over 40.
You confirmed to me what I had believed. That it wasn’t too late. This disease ate up the best of my 30′s but it wasn’t going to take anymore from me, that I could be and feel young and fit at 39. That I didn’t have to buy into the “old at 40″ BS, because I never had in the past. I didn’t know until I went to your website that you also suffer from gluten issues, and know how difficult it is.
Sorry for the length of this, but you were a page turner for me. You were, and continue to be, inspirational to me. So thank you a million times over; I can see why you have such a devoted following. There are a lot of us fitness devotees out here who suffer from gluten intolerance or Celiac’s and the amount of resources catered to us is small.

JS: Natalie, We all know that nutrition is a major player in how we look, even if we work out in the gym all the time. We can’t work off bad food. My pictures show this clearly.
Before = big bloated belly and bad food choices! I am certainly not in the gym all the time and I have been unable to work out as consistently as I want to due to the health issues of my child, but i still do workout whenever I am able (even if I squeeze in broken workouts through out the day). Now that I know her issues are more long term I am putting things in place to allow me the time I need to get the workouts in.
I know when I add workouts to this food plan I am going to see more great changes! It is about progress not perfection, right?! All I have to say is that since I have started back on the clean eating train (via your jump start) I have more in me to give when she gets ill and needs me.
I am sleeping better, less stressed, more alert, and that makes every day better – even the bad ones!! I am also craving exercise and cherish every moment I am able to reward myself with it!!Thanks for such a great plan. EASY & DELICIOUS too!
