02 Jul 3 Step Quick Healthy Snacks
Today is all about a FLAT BELLY and how you can snack super quick, and super healthy. We are taking it to the kitchen so I can share three quick, healthy snacks with you that you can eat and keep that flat belly! (or GET that flat belly if you don’t have one yet!)
When I think of snacks, I use my hand as my guide. The carb is the size of your fist and the fat is the size of your thumb.
Quick Healthy Snack #1 – Cinnamon Almond Apples
Ingredients:
1 apple
2 tsp almond butter
1/2 tsp crushed almonds
cinnamon
Directions:
Slice your apple into thin slices. Drizzle on your almond butter. Sprinkle on the cinnamon and top with crushed almonds. A sweet snack with the perfect balance.
Quick Healthy Snack #2 – Three Step Ceviche
Ingredients:
1 cup shrimp
diced tomatoes
cilantro
1 tbsp avocado
lime
Directions:
Squeeze fresh lime juice on your shrimp. Add the avocado, and mix. Once mixed, add in the tomatoes and cilantro and mix again. A zesty snack with a great balance of protein, carbs, and fat.
Quick Healthy Snack #3 – Turkey Roll Up
Ingredients:
thick romaine lettuce
1/2 – 1 cup chicken or turkey
bean sprouts
1 tbsp avocado
mustard
Directions:
Add the chicken or turkey to your romaine leaf. Top with sprouts, avocado, and mustard. Roll it up and enjoy! Another balanced, delicious snack!
