Three Simple Healthy Sweet Treats
I am so excited to share these three simple MitoXcell healthy sweet treats! Although you can use any cacao for these recipes, MitoXcell is what I use for ANYTHING I do that involves cacao because in addition to satisfying my sweet tooth, it is filled with amazing health benefits. Since I’ve been asked to share how to cure that sweet tooth that just won’t hit the road…here you go! Chocolate lovers read on.
Guilt Free Cookie Balls
Ingredients:
1/4 cup MitoXcell
1 cup almond flour
1 scoop raw protein powder
1/3 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup almond butter
2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
3 tbsp grade b maple syrup
Directions:
Mix, roll into balls, place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and refrigerate until you can’t stand it anymore! 🙂
Mito Sea Salt Chocolate Bites
Ingredients:
pinch of sea salt or cinnamon (optional — but my favorite is to add the salt!)
1/4 cup coconut oil
2/3 cup MitoXcell
3 tbsp grade b maple syrup
2-3 candy molds
Directions:
First melt coconut oil over low heat. Remove from heat as soon as its melted. Once you remove the oil from the heat sprinkle MitoXcell in and whisk together. Add in maple syrup. Sprinkle salt (or cinnamon) into molds then pour mixture into molds and place in fridge for 15-20 mins!
Creamy Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
3-5 tbsp MitoXcell
3/4 cup coconut sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
3/4 cup water
Directions:
Blend until smooth. Scoop into cups and chill before serving.
