For Lean, Sexy, Toned Thighs…do this thunder thigh blasting workout
Thunder thighs be gone! In this thigh blasting workout video I will show you how to get lean, toned thighs in this workout from my Stronger program. Are you in?
Jump one leg and opposite arm forward. Then switch so that the side in front is now the side behind you. Make sure to pause in between switching to ensure it is a controlled move. This is a great way to get your heart rate up and warm up your thighs (and legs!)
2. Single Leg Touch Downs
Standing on one leg, slightly bend at the knee, reach down to touch the ground with the opposite arm, while extending the leg on the same side as the extended arm back behind you. Controlling the movement, come back up to starting position and repeat. Complete one side before moving onto the other.
3. Plie Squats
Standing with your feet shoulder width apart, toes pointed outward, squat down while squeezing your inner thigh muscles. Make sure you are keeping your knees behind your toes, your core engaged, and your back straight.
4. Active Runners Lunge
Kneel down into a runners starting position, take the active leg and push out, lightly tapping the toe on that side and then bring it back in. You should feel this in your base leg quad. Complete one side before moving onto the other side.
5. Get Low Side to Side Lunge
Get down as low as you can in a squat position, keeping those knees bent and facing forward. From there, shift side to side. Don’t forget to keep your knees behind your toes. Add in an arm movement if you want!
