Strawberry Chocolate Cobbler Recipe
Strawberries and chocolate are a match made in heaven. This Strawberry Chocolate Cobbler recipe may TASTE like an indulgence, but the ingredient list proves that it’s not. It can be served either warm or cold, and you can add or swap in any seasonal berry you like.
Strawberry Chocolate Cobbler Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons unsalted grass fed butter
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 2 cups almond flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
Strawberry Chocolate Cobbler Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine the butter, cocoa powder and ¼ cup of the coconut sugar in a 9×13 glass baking dish. Place in the oven for 3–5 minutes to melt the butter. Remove from the oven and stir until well blended. Spread mixture out over the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and the remaining ¾ cup coconut sugar. Add the almond milk and stir until the mixture is smooth. Spoon over the melted butter mixture but do not stir. Scatter the strawberries on top.
- Bake for 45 to 55 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
Serves: 8
