Mega Nutrient Rich Smoothie – yummy recipe
I’m smoothie obsessed lately! Basically, I’m challenging myself DAILY to get as MANY phytonutrients into each one as possible. Wake and shake with this Mega Nutrient Rich Smoothie!
Here are the ingredients for the Mega Nutrient Rich Smoothie
Start with a cup to a cup and 1/2 of frozen fruit. I use FROZEN Fruit as that will give it the cold slushy smoothie texture.
The fruits I used are: Pitaya, mixed berries, 2 slices of peach, 2 chunks of pineapple, 4 cherries and three WHOLE strawberries (yes the green stems are good for you too!)
Add some of your favorite veggies! I use one celery stalk, 1 whole carrot, a cup of spinach
Add a tablespoon of your favorite nut butter! I used ALMOND butter here. Oh! And for the ALMOND butter, if you want to make it yourself I have a super quick easy to make recipe HERE:

NOW for the optional ADD ins and Add Ons for the mega nutrient rich smoothie:
- I am using :
- 1 Scoop Protein Powder
- 1/2 tsp Chia Seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon raw cacao nibs
- 1/2 TBSP of shredded coconut
And then my SECRET amazing add in ingredient is GREENS POWDER

Directions:
Add fruits, veggies, greens powder, protein (optional), almond butter, and chia seeds to a blender and blend until smooth.
Now, for an amazing Taste, TEXTURE and photo worthy smoothie:
Top with shredded coconut and cacao nibs and ENJOY!
