Bye Bye Bingo Arms! Tricep Exercises

It’s amazing how you can work the same muscle with so many different moves. In this case, we are targeting our triceps.  Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, I share several different ways to work those triceps! Grab a mat or carpeted surface, watch the video and do these with me!

Remember, you cannot spot reduce through exercise, but you CAN develop muscle in those BINGO arms by losing fat and increasing the intensity of your workouts.

Exercise: Tricep Sit Backs – let’s just take it from beginner (Pre-K to Graduation) okay?Tricep Exercises Beginner To Advanced

Beginner – Pre-K

Simply sit down with your heels and bum on the ground with your fingertips pointed forward. Bend your elbows and push back up, performing a tricep dip.

Kindergarten

Same move as above, but this time slightly lift your feet up and let them hover over the ground.

1st Grade

Start out with your heels and bum on the ground, only this time lift your butt off the ground and perform tricep dips.

2nd Grade

Take it to another level and lift one leg up and HOLD.

3rd Grade

I like to refer to this as a “Traveling Crab Walk.” In a bridge position with your feet and palms on the floor, fingers pointed forward, simply walk yourself forward and back and side to side.

FAST FORWARD TO GRADUATION!

Exercise: Tricep Sit Thru’s

Start in a bridge position with your palms and feet flat on the floor. “Sit” backwards through your hands by transferring your weight underneath you and hold. As you come back to starting position, bring your head back, almost like a tabletop.

There is no magic number or set number of repetitions; just do what is CHALLENGING FOR YOU! Maybe it’s a minute of each, or maybe it’s 15 seconds, but whatever it is, make it intense for you.
