Creative Quick Healthy Snacks
It happens to the best of us! We get those cravings for something sweet. I am here to tell you that it’s okay… you CAN have something sweet to satisfy that craving, but it doesn’t have to be naughty! I started posting some of my favorite quick and healthy snacks and they were so popular, I wanted to share more! And the best part? If you are following my Jump Start or Stronger programs these are totally approved! Enjoy!

Snack #1 – Frozen Banana Bites
Ingredients:
2 small bananas
¼ cup cacao nibs
2 tbsp almond butter
Directions:
In a blender, mix all ingredients until smooth.
Line a freezer safe dish with parchment paper, drop dollops of mix (size of quarter) across the dish and freeze.
Serves 2
Snack #2 – Baked Pears with Goat Cheese
Ingredients:
2 pears
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp goat cheese
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp pecans, chopped
Directions:
Preheat oven 400 degrees.
Cut pears lengthwise & scoop out a section to make a little bowl.
Grease the glass dish with coconut oil & place pears face down into dish and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the pears and drizzle on your balsamic vinegar. Place back in oven for 2 minutes.
Remove pears and fill each with the goat cheese and top with pecans.
And Voila!
Serves 2
