Easy DIY Almond Butter
Easy DIY Almond Butter Recipe. The best part about making your own anything is you know each and every ingredient that you’re putting into your body. This is a super quick, easy recipe to make your own unprocessed almond butter! One of my favorite snacks is sliced fruit or veggies with almond butter. Make your own with only two simple ingredients!
Easy DIY Almond Butter
Ingredients:
2 cups roasted almonds
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
Directions:
Place roasted almonds in a food processor or blender. The blending is going to take some time so you need to be patient. It could possibly take close to 10 minutes to get the right nut butter consistency. Stop the mixing periodically in order to scrape down the sides and get all the almond and pulp.
Add the salt toward the end of the processing.
You can also add some additional healthy ingredients to make a chocolate-coconut almond butter. Yum!
2 Tbsp cacao
3 tbsp coconut oil
Add these ingredients to your processor of blender along with the almonds and salt.
The best part about it, is that when it comes out, it’s warm!
