Gluten Free High Protein Smoothie Recipe
This is my FAVORITE go to healthy, gluten free, meal replacement smoothie. It is SUPER easy to make, great tasting, made from whole foods and is enriched with a natural whey protein. This makes the PERFECT high protein smoothie! This can be used as the perfect meal replacement.
Ingredients:
- Frozen berries (I use organic)
- Coconut milk (or coconut water for less calories, unsweetened, light almond milk, juice or water)
- Whey protein powder (or any high quality protein that’s plant, egg or whey based, but make sure it’s not a meal replacement shake)
Note: Whey protein is fast digesting and helps with appetite suppression and weight loss. - 1 TBSP almond butter (healthy fat that helps you feel full)
- Greens (or fresh vegetables)
