Seriously this is the COOLEST smoothie idea EVER! You have GOT to try this! It is super healthy and is made from WHOLE foods! It has an awesome “layered twist” Wait until you taste what chocolate AND pitaya can do!
The BEST Gluten Free Vegan Smoothies
How to make this Gluten Free and Vegan Dessert Smoothies
First layer
½ cup Raw Coconut water (straight from coconut or store bought)
(2) Medjool dates (for sweetener)
Pitaya aka dragon fruit
Bee Pollen
Mix in blender and pour into a glass ½ full. Note: First layer will be a little thicker.
Second layer
Frozen cherries
(1) Scoop protein powder (I prefer chocolate protein powder for this recipe)
½ cup remaining coconut water
Blend
Mix in blender and pour on top of the first layer in the glass.
Sprinkle with cacao shavings.
The ingredients in this smoothie are unbelievable! You get your healthy fats, amino acids and fiber and if you drink post workout, it replenishes all of your electrolytes. It’s also great for your hair, nails and health. Enjoy!!!
