Mike and I started in fitness at about the same time. Even though we have very different audiences, we have a lot of KEY things in common.
Not only is Mike an amazing dad, but he truly values honor, integrity, and doing the right thing. I almost fogot…you will be BLOWN AWAY at what food Mike is ‘addicted’ to! Have to watch the interview to find out 🙂

In a world where so many people ‘judge’ others on what they eat, how they workout, etc. Mike is a voice of reason and realizes that the human body is dynamic. People can do different activities, eat different things, and we can ALL be healthy and fit!
The important thing is that it doesn’t matter what activity a person is doing…what is important is that they are taking initiative!
A favorite quote from the talk was this: “Knowledge with no mileage is NOTHING”.
So many people have ‘knowledge’, but without taking action and applying it in the real world, it doesn’t mean anything. You have to have real world experience.
Here is the important thing, people can become their best them, no matter their age, no matter their hurdles — and fitness should NOT make you feel bad about yourself.
You are not a failure. It doesn’t matter what way is the “right” way. If it works for you, keep going! If you have yet to find a way to health, fitness, and nutrition that inspires you and makes you feel GOOD, then maybe this is it!
