I love me some seafood! Fish contain a wide variety of vitamins and minerals including vitamins A and D, phosphorus, magnesium, and selenium. Try out these 3 healthy seafood recipes as a delicious way to get your dose of amazing vitamins and minerals!
Healthy Seafood Recipe – Kiwi Salsa With Shrimp
1 kiwi
3 tbsp white onion
1/4 cup diced bell pepper
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
2 tbsp lime juice
1 small tomato
½ avocado
3 jumbo shrimp
Mix it up & enjoy!
Healthy Seafood Recipe – Salmon Cakes
Ingredients:
1 lb salmon, skin off and cut into cubes
1 green onion, cut into 2″ pieces
1″ piece of fresh ginger peeled
1 egg
juice of 1/2 lime
1/4 cup crushed gluten free crackers
1/2 red chile
Directions:
In a food processor chop onion pieces and ginger. Add salmon cubes and pulse until chopped. Remove salmon mixture for food processor into a mixing bowl. Add the egg, juice of lime half crushed cracker crumbs and red pepper. Stir until well blended. Form mixture into 8 patties. Broil in oven for about 4-6 minutes until opaque. Serve with lemon slice.

Healthy Seafood Recipe – Grapefruit Avocado Salad with Shrimp
Ingredients:
1/2 Avocado
1 Grapefruit
1 tbsp sliced almonds
4 oz cooked shrimp
Dressing: Juice of 1 Lemon, Salt/pepper, 3 tbsp Olive oil
Directions:
Toss and enjoy!
