Bye Bye Flab! How to lose 5 Pounds in 7 days
It’s possible… you really can lose 5 pounds in 7 days and say goodbye to that flab! I want to share with you how to lose 5 pounds in 7 days. It’s that time of year… holiday parties, family get-togethers, eating, drinking, indulging just a little bit more than usual. Did you know that the average American consumes 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving Day alone?! It’s crazy, but don’t worry! In this video, I share five very easy tips on how to be proactive and how to lose 5 pounds in 7 days.
How to Lose 5 pounds in 7 days
#1 Get Your Mind Right
Do you think you’re going to drop the pounds if you aren’t truly committed? You need to decide you’re ready to commit; determine your “why” behind wanting to lose the weight, make a decision, and commit!
#2 Unprocess Your Diet
Sometimes I feel like a broken record passing this information along, but you want to think of only eating foods that once grew or needed sun! Get rid of artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, packaged and processed foods. I want you to think about one-ingredient foods: fruit, vegetables, nuts, protein. The best part about eating healthy, natural, unprocessed foods is that you will feel full quicker without the bloat!
#3 Remove Allergens
If you feel sluggish, tired, or bloated, you may have an allergy. I have Celiac, which means I can’t have gluten. What people don’t know is that a lot of processed foods, such as dairy, wheat, and corn products, can cause bloat. Just remove these things from your diet for 7 days and see how you feel!
#4 Hydrate
I can’t think of anything more important than staying hydrated. The more water you drink, the more water you’re going to release. Yes, you may be headed to the restroom more often than you like, but think how much better you are going to feel and how many more extra steps you will have to walk!
#5 Move
I’m not asking you to run a half marathon, but all you need to do is add movement to your daily activities. Maybe that means parking your car further away from the grocery store, or taking your dog for an extra-long walk. Just be active! Inactivity is not healthy – activity is not only the best thing you can do for yourself, but don’t you deserve to feel good anyway?
