The struggle is REAL!!! Staying on top of things and staying organized can be quite a messy situation 🙂 Who has the time to be organized between their jobs, school drop offs (& pick ups), soccer practice, cooking, cleaning, packing lunches, etc? In this video, I share 7 effective, daily tips that you can implement right away and feel the stress go away!
Effective Daily Habits
Daily Tip #1 – Wake Up Earlier!!!!
I’m here to tell you that by setting up that alarm clock an hour earlier already gives you more time to accomplish what you need to and it also happens to be the time you are most focused (even if that means having coffee!).
Daily Tip #2 – Eat Breakfast
Not only are you starting your day off the “right way” with eating a healthy breakfast, but it will help you be more productive throughout the day. Don’t skip breakfast! You know what the word “breakfast” means? It means to “break the fast” that you had during your eight hours of sleep. It’s so important!
Daily Tip #3 Workout in the Morning
I know it’s not always possible to get in a morning workout, but even if you had five minutes to do a little core workout, you will start out with more energy. If you wake up that hour earlier, maybe a workout is what you do during that time?
Daily Tip #4 – Do NOT Multi-Task
For some people, multi tasking is easy. For some, it’s a nightmare. When you multi-task, you risk the chance of having more errors. I suggest you make a list of your priorities and tackle them one at a time. If you finish those tasks, go ahead and move onto the less important ones.
Daily Tip #5 – Complete Important Tasks During your Most Productive Time
This can be considered a “tag a long” with Tip #4, but you may find it helpful to tackle your most important tasks during your most productive time. If 3:00 rolls around and you’re ready for a nap, this probably wouldn’t be the best time to knock out a report for your boss or start planning your friends baby shower. You need to be “on point!”
Daily Tip #6 – Allow Yourself Time to Rest
Just as you are to be productive during your “focus” time and tackle all your priorities… you need to allow yourself some rest too! Maybe take a walk, read a book, online shop…. whatever… just allow yourself some time to rest.
Daily Tip #7 – Get in a Routine
Once you have mastered all of the above, make it a daily routine (at least Monday thru Friday). You will feel so good about it and everything that you are now accomplishing! There is something comforting about taking care of items off your “check list!”
