Perfect Inner Thigh Exercises

Who wants a really good inner thigh workout?

If YOU do, then let’s go! All you need is some space to do the exercises and your own body weight!

In our series of exercises, you’re going to stand in a PLIÉ position, bending your knees outward, standing shoulder width a part, your back held straight, your toes pointed slightly outward, and then you’re going to take it down to a wide squat. Just go up and down, squeezing your butt and thighs. You can keep your hands on your hips or put them out in front of you. If you want to make it more challenging, you can hold a weight in your hand.  And the lower you go the harder its going to feel.

Tip: If you want to work your calves as well, just come up on your toes.  In terms of repetitions, there is no magic number, no amount of time, it’s just when you really feel it.

Moving on, when you really start to feel the burn, begin doing sumo squat pulses. Once you have this down, hold and squeeze the inner thigh!

Tip: If you think about pushing your legs forward, you’ll get more of that burn.

We’re almost there! I’m going to add another variation… from your sumo squat position, you’re just going to start moving back and forth, keeping those legs wide, hips low and toes pointed outward. Just a few steps forward and a few steps back, just like I demonstrated in the video.

And for our last exercise, I want you to place your hands on your hip, putting all of your balance on one leg, bring other leg up and and begin with tiny little pulses with that leg.  When you’re done, rotate and do the other side.

Tip: If this is too easy, close your eyes.
