Pink Lover Pre Workout Smoothie!
This is NOT one of those smoothies that looks better than it tastes… This is CRAZY delicious!
As many of you know, my pre-workout fuel of choice is some whey protein and a piece of fruit (this is the one meal where I DON’T have added fats).
However, with this crazy heat we are experiencing right now, I was craving a smoothie instead of my normal pre workout meal. So, I decided to do this from the leftovers in my freezer. It is SO GOOD!
Gluten Free Pre Workout Smoothie
Here is what you need to make this yummy gluten free pre workout smoothie!
- Berries (I used 1/2 cup frozen)
- Peaches (I used frozen- about 1/2 peach worth)
- Pineapple 1/2 cup pineapple
- 1 pouch Frozen Pitya
- I added about 1/2 cup of water and 1 scoop of protein powder
Next, blend it in your blender or vitamix.
NOTE- I personally choose to use FROZEN fruit as this way I get the slushy flavor without having to water it down with ice.
Top with some raw cacao nibs and some toasted coconut and VOILA! You are enjoying what I am having right now!
