Quickie Beginner Workout or Warmup You Can Do Anywhere
Today we are doing a quickie beginner workout…OR a full body warmup, depending on your level of fitness! Are you ready? Get moving with me.
In this quickie beginner workout, follow these few simple steps to get your entire body up and moving.
Big Arm Circles – take your arms up and around in a full circle; get your whole body into it, breathe through it, and warm those shoulders up! Make sure to reverse the direction, too.
Hop – add a little hop (pretend like you’re jump roping). This move aims to raise your heart rate! If it’s too much impact to hop, just touch your toes instead. BUT if it doesn’t hurt your knees, I want to see you JUMP!
Around The World Lunges – take it forward, side, back, and around — all in a lunging motion. Complete all four on one side four times, then switch sides for four more.
Curtsy Lunge – think of doing a side lunge, except your leg goes back into a curtsy position, and your arms swing up and around. This move is a great way to get your whole body moving and engaged. Alternate sides
Breathe – take a few deep breaths in and out
If you are a beginner and you’re feeling this quickie beginner workout, you’re good to go! If you need a little more, you can repeat it again or move on to another workout! This is a great way to get your body moving and your heart rate up no matter where you are or how much time you have.
