ONE Change Led To This Personal Trainer’s Transformation

Meet Stacie…

Stacie is a personal trainer that thought she was doing everything right.  Read on to find out the ONE thing she changed that made all the difference in the world, and allowed her body to become the ‘business card’ it needed to be as a top personal trainer.

In her own words…

Every time I sit down to write my transformation journey down I can’t figure out where to start.  There have been so many attempts, so many stops and restarts that I can’t even count.  I should tell you that with my pregnancies I did balloon up to a whopping 220 lbs.  I hovered around 180 lbs for years.  I used to tell myself that I could lose and gain 20 lbs like no one’s business.

Deciding to try

In May 2011, I became serious.  I wanted to be fit enough the following January (my 40th Birthday) to schedule a fitness photo shoot.  I had the workouts under control.  See, I’m a personal trainer, so being in the gym is a huge part of my life.  I also understood that as a personal trainer I was not utilizing my most important business card, my body.  So I got serious.  I trained hard, I ate clean 90% of the time, but something still wasn’t right.

Turning 40 and STILL missing my goal

January came, I turned 40 and I still wasn’t close AT ALL to any kind of a photo shoot.  I knew I was eating all of the right things, however, it wasn’t until I decided to commit and stop trying that I started seeing RESULTS!

Committing instead of trying

I enlisted the help of fellow trainer and licensed sports nutritionist, Natalie Jill. The first thing I learned was that my portions were all wrong.  I assumed that since I was eating all the right things, I could have as much of it as I wanted.  With the 7 day jump start I started to understand appropriate portions of my food.  I didn’t need a 4 cups of dressed spinach salad.  Nor should I eat a whole chicken breast that weighs more than a pound.  The results of the last 8 weeks are overwhelming.

Committing worked!

My transformation is REAL! I feel like I am closer to scheduling that photo shoot and my 40’s are shaping up to be the most amazing time of my life.  In the last 8 weeks I have lost 12.5 lbs, 10.5 Inches and 3.0% body fat.  I’m not settling, I’m not backing down.  Now that I am here, I am more excited to see what I can do next.  Thank you Natalie Jill for helping so many men and women with your 7 day Jump Start, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me!
