How to NOT gain weight over the holidays
Have you been naughty or nice? Wait, what does that have to do with anything? During this time of year, we all dread that winter coat. And I’m not talking about that cute fall coat from Nordstrom! I want to share a few tips to help you avoid gaining those holiday ell-bees (lbs).

Tips on how to avoid getting Santa’s belly:
Eat something healthy so you’re not starving before going to the party
Trust me… I get it. Sometimes you’re craving that baked brie that your best friend makes or those insane chocolate chip cookies that make your mouth water
If you eat something before heading out, you won’t be ravenous and eat the whole dish, but just a few bites!
Drink lots of water!
I know it may seem boring, but make sure you have water in your hand constantly. The more water you drink, the less hungry you will feel. Hint: Put a lime or lemon in it and no one will even know the difference.
Park far away!
Don’t be that person circling around the parking lot looking for space closest to the front door of Target. Seriously. Extra credit: Carry all of your bags and work those arms. Get a workout in while you’re at it.
Have a Workout Plan!
This might be the most important one. Our lives are already so busy and then you throw the holidays in and where does the time go? Make sure you get those workouts in and like I mentioned earlier, get an accountability partner. What’s more fun than two of you crushing it this holiday season? Friends don’t let friends get chunky!
